Brainstorm: 'What are the essential features of the Exhibition?'
Teachers shared as many great ideas as possible. Heidi (Grade Level Leader) directed us to write down answers to her question (here above) on 'Post It' notes. The aim was to activate our prior knowledge.and to share our experiences and ideas. We used the IB Exhibition Guidelines as a point of reference.
Mapping the Exhibition Over Time
The teachers then began to work backwards from the final Exhibition Presentation and to work out the timing of each of the essetial features of the exhibition. For example when to hold the parents information evening,when to organize field trips, when to invite other schools and so on. Other meeting minutes are found in the file below.

Our First Mentor Meeting
On Wednesday 20th February all the 2013 Exhibition mentors met for the first time. We had almost 30 volunteers who showed an interest in becoming an Exhibition mentor. Ms Heidi chaired the meeting guiding everyone through the mentoring process. and answering people'squestions. As part of the meeting Heidi showed the participants the Mentor Guidelines found here on this website and the website itself.
